Before I got internet (some 2 and a half years ago)
I listened to tracks here in Belgium, I only knew tracks from the radio and in the clubs.
When I never heard a track before in a club, it was like OMG what's the name of this track, asking around. I had to know the name of it.
It was like A gift out of heaven when I had the track.
Some examples of tracks, which 90% doesnt even know inhere are soooo damn good and have an incredible value for me, that I cant forget them anymore.
D van Horn - somebody now to love
Milk inc - saxy motion
The Mackenzie feat. Jessy - without you/arpegia
Scorpio rising - nagasaki
Urban elektro squad - ex-girlfriends
Der dritte raum - hale bopp (this is well known :))
just to name a few...
Then on the other hand when I got internet I discovered BT - mercury and solace, flaming june
You know all the tracks who are supposed to be THE classix ever.
And I think (know) those ARE the classix.
But tracks like BT - mercury and solace, I never heard some of these in a club here.
So its really different for saying which track I like the most.
90% says BT - mercury and solace off course, because they know it from the internet or really grew up with it....
But for me I never heard this one somewhere :(
Another example (and there r hundreds) is sasha - xpander
throuhout the years its become one of my all time favorites... just listening to it and growing onto me BUT... I never heard it here in a club :(:(:(
So then I ask myself what are for me the best tracks ever.
The ones I grew up with from the clubs and I really have great memories with... like those I mentioned
or the "REAL" classics like bt, sasha....
I dont really know,
there's only one track that's a classic and I grew up with and that's Push - universal nation. |

| I know that many of you think that eurodance suck, but before i came here in USA and started listening to trance, i listened to a lot eurodance and that give me great memory of really happy times. Everytime i hear some of this eurodance tracks now i feel great and pretty happy. Ohhh old times!! :( That is one big reason why i think eurodance is better than trance. I grew up with it. |
