You can prepare apple cider from powers available in grocery stores. Just add water. Now surely that's not an alcoholic drink.
Edit : | quote: | | Apple cider is the name for a non-alcoholic beverage produced from apples by a process of pressing, especially in the United States and parts of Canada. It is more sour and cloudy than conventional apple juice, retaining the tart flavor of the apple pulp which is lost in conventional fruit juice production. |

| American apple cider is a bastardisation of the true, traditional fermented cider. What's known as 'cider' in the US is known all elsewhere as juice. |

only kind of apple juice i'll drink is Mott's Fresh Pressed 100% Apple Juice, which is cloudy. love combining that with 100% cranberry juice... yum!
i hate the clear ... it's bland and artificial tasting, which is fine if you're in kindergarten. |

I guess I've never seen "cloudy" apple juice before...
And yes, what we 'mericans call "Cider" is not the same "Cider" as everywhere else. |
