hybrid review

I'll be really short here because I have a lot to do today and I just woke up, it's almost 2pm. The night started off pretty slow, some nice progressive house got dropped. Sandra collins was damn hot too. Hybrid finally got on, and they started off in a more progressive set. I went up to the stage and talked to chris for a minute. I asked him why they weren't playing breaks, he said he didn't know if the toroton crowd would like it. I told him to drop "dirty ass breaks" and damn did they ever. They laid the ing pain down with one of the sweatest breaks sets I've ever heard. Hernan came back on for awhile and was laying it down too for awhile.

Highlight of the night: hybrid dropping a breaks mix of dooms night, followed by the stanton warriors mix of dooms night. amazing.

ah i see a lot of peeps are still resting from last night...here's my review..
i got there around 11 30 pm at Kool Haus, there was a little line-up, bought the ticket of some guy for $20 :D...when i got inside, there was barely any people, but around 12 30 in started to get a little more people. anyways bought myself beer and listened to luke flair's set. gotta tell, he did a good job :) spun some nice progressive house beats :) i was waiting for sandra to come on a midnight, but she didn't. i heard that hernan catteneo wasn't gonna show up :clown: didn't bother me, coz when sandra took over the decks around 1 40 am the crowd started to get alive. around by now i meet trancearmanda, kytracid, dieToccaine and other guys. nice seeing you guys again, it was safe partying you guys. for kytracid it was a night of light shows hehe ;) nice bro, keep it up. back to sandra, he mainly spun hard-house and some electro, never heard it live in my life, but that electo was sick! really hard beats and that got me going crazy :D sandra was ed too on something, when that song with the sweet vocals came on she was signing :) and yes she's hot. around 3 40 mike truman from Hybrid took over and these guys were definately the highlights of the night. he started with some deep dark electic progressive, massive en tunes man :eyes: i cudn't stop dancing, man, they were so groooooovy :D then he spun 2 breaks songs and dieeeed..never heard of them before and they were so sweeeeeeeet :) chris healings came on after an hour later and he spun his tunez, again just banging stuff. yet again i wudn't say they spun progressive, ya the sound were repetitive but i basslines were different, lots of electronic stuff added to it. i wud say Hybrid's gender live is just simple called Electronica :) back to hybrid's set, simple they were just amazing, totally underground stuff. for those TA's that didn't come, you missed a hell of a night. i know infinity_HIGH is kicking himself now hehe Hybrid are definately top class dj's and learned that from them yesterday. i can anyone tell you that they can take on any dj in the world right now. underground will always live and mainstream trace just doesn't get close to it. anyways thats my review, im tired, my ears are still booming, i have some of their songs still in my head :) and im really happy hehe :D

Well, it's saturday now, and I'm still hyped up from hybrids set. One track in particular I'm totally in love with. It's more of a slowed back breaks track. When the dj dropped it he was pointing out to particular people in the crowd to the beat. It had a lyric that went "welcome to the next level" or something like that. Don't suppose anyone remembers that track, and knows it's name?
