How bad is this?? (Cartridge Damage)

Hi all,
I was just wondering, maybe you can help me. This afternoon I was spinning a bit and at a certain moment I wanted to place the tone-arm back, but it slipped and "landed" on the platter. It sounded like RRRRRRRRRRR over the speakers because the needle hit it. Now i'm pretty worried. It works fine, but still. Do you think that i caused serious damage, or can these cartridges survice these accidents. I have a Tonar Banana by the way.

| usually one typical needles, it just hits the side of it, not the needle. I tried this one time, i placed the needle on the side of the platter, and the needle doesnt touch it. |
