The majority of new product or promo still is sent directly to DJ's as promo Vinyl or MP3. Thank god for Seroto Vinyl and digital audio... Cuts down the amount of vinyl in the crates. You can contact some of the labels for promo material but if your not a DJ playing regularly at a respected club they probably wont send material. Try it wont hurt and you will get the GEMS before they hit the sites. But please stay away from sites like Limewire. If the artist dont get any money for the music they may just stop making it.
