The mighty Slovenian Recycled Loops has released it's first offering for 2007 and let me tell you, it is one sweet fcuking treat.
Marco G & Dj Preach have teamed up for a juicy release imaginatively titled, 'Culture Shock'.
On remix duty the talented Marko Nastic has managed to deliver a super-funky tribal-tech banger. He has had a slew of well-recieved releases on namely, Sway / Recon Warriors / Concept / Yin Yang and loads of other quality techno labels.
Culture Shock (Marko Nastic Mix) - A solid, funky bassline with crisp hi-hats are percs and a thick underlying groove are the order of the day. Super-funky vocal snippets are well-placed throughout the track to further add to the funkiness. Dancefloor material guaranteed. 9/10

Culture Shock (Original Mix) - Not really to my liking. Listen to it yourself. After hearing the Marko Nastic Mix, this track lacks the drive and energy and it seems as something is missing.
Decent electro-tinged tech track nonethless. 7/10

Human Behavior - Once again, funkiness is what drives this elec-tribal track. Not quite as relentless as the Marko Nastic Mix, this is quite slower and builds methodically. Excellent groovy electro-tribal w/ tech-housey rhythms. - 8/10
