I'm not sure what the capacity of those events are. I think most are around 40 or 50,000, although some may be bigger.
Anyone know the capacity?
I hope to go to at least 2 of them, and hopefully the Berlin Love Parade. There'll be a load of indoor festivals, some of which I hope to go to. Havn't any funds for NEC this week though, tha has a massive lineup too.
It is unconfirmed as yet whether the UK Love Parade will even go ahead this year :( |

Dude, that's just. Just WRONG.
Over here we get to see each good DJ once, maybe twice a year. Bleh. |

Sounds like another rough summer in the UK....
If I was there.... boy, it would be very rough..... on my pocketbook. |

Moo hoo har har!!
A couple of miles down the road I'm missing SIGNUM playing right NOW!
But that's no skin off my nose, cos in a couple of weeks time, at the same club 5 minutes drive down the road, MAURO PICOTTO, CORVIN DALEK & MATT HARDWICK will be banging out some trance till 6am which should be sweet:D
But some of the other, luckier sods from the UK are going to this lineup next Saturday (jammy bastards). I could have gone to this, but it's about 2-3 hours on the train and I can't afford it:
15,000 people.
Pete Tong
Roger Sanchez
Seb Fontaine
X-press 2
Paul van Dyk
Mauro Picotto
Scot Project
Matt Hardwick
Nick Riley
Judge Jules
Tiesto
Tall Paul
Scott Bond
Talla 2xlc
It's at the NEC, who throw huge parties about once a month or so I believe. Check out the pictures. I really wanted to go to this!!!

We get events that size every now and then in Newcastle, which is about 5 minutes down the road. A couple of weeks ago we had the Godskitchen Carnival, a 7,500 man rave. Here's the lineup:

Judge Jules
Tall Paul
John Kelly
Armin Van Buuren
Ferry Corsten
Signum
Rob Tissera
AJ Gibson
Lisa Lashes
Tidy Boys
Lisa Pin-Up
Anne Savage
Andy Farley
Kerry James
Kenzi
By the way, where are the best parties in America? As in what is the best city to go to for best parties whatever the time of year? |

Me too mate, unfortunately Summer Sound System is during my exams.
This pisses me off so much because it's the day after my birthday (I have an exam on my birthday too! ) and it would have been a brilliant way to celebrate my 18th birthday.
Still, Global Gathering and Creamfields I can go to, cash is the only problem there, and I really want to make it to the Berlin Love Parade, cos I've only ever been abroad once and I've heard that's the biggest rave in the world.
By the way, what's the nightlife like in Glasgow? I was talking to these lads from Edinburgh of all places who reckon Glasgow is a class city to have a night out. How late are the latest clubs open on an average weekend, cos I can get the train there and back for £19, so if there's an all nighter I don't need to bother with accomodaton.
Me and my mates were thinking of going to glasgow for a night out and coming back again on the train. Cos if there's one city in Britain that is anything like Newcastle, it's probably Glasgow. I've heard the people are all unemployed alcoholics, just like here! :) |
