omg.. Roger Sanchez @ Crobar tonight takes the cake as best show of '07, so far. Not sure who's idea it was but damn - they moved the DJ down to the floor. GOD. What a move. Place was off the hook.. That, along with Roger's sounds.. damn. Felt like being in Miami. Just amazing. I seriously hope they continue to do events with the DJ on the floor - if this continues, Crobar has GREAT potential this year - I think we will see it rise and set a new standard for Chicago clubbing. He played a rmx of PATT and guess what it was OK - it fit in great and ppl loved it. He played a rmx of This is Not Miami.. and guess what - it was GREAT. That was the mood of the nite. Just one big mad party. damn. Sometimes songs just feel right... he was spot on with his selections.
So I was supposed to go to Mixbar but I felt really tired.. and then SOMEONE suggested I take a nap.. around 9pm. MISTAKE! I woke up around 12:30 and was like oops... I then discovered I had a barrage of msg's about shooting at Crobar 2nite so I was like DONE. Anyway, so glad I went, this was a F'ING SHOW!!!!!!
