as a first time TiLer i really didn't know what to expect, but for the most part it was a pretty good time! the ppl were friendly but i definitely got killed by a few girls stilettos as they were jumping around mindlessly, and bulldozed by a few HUGE guys.
armand was forgetable and i could have easily been happy hearing just manzone & strong. there were only a handfull of songs i liked which armand played, mostly the tribal ones and of course "hear my name". i was expecting something housey, and what we got was...i dunno...electro? i'm a little fuzzy on genre guidelines. luckily the fab company made the night good, so thanks drew, amanda, erin, dave, allysa, cruz, and the two guys who were dancing like they gave a damn when i certainly didn't! nice to finally meet you properly jay. next time i'll do the token slut pose for the pics :) |
