Pendulum - Slam "Featured on PS3 Game"
I was walking around Best Buy today and I tried this demo disc on the PS3, some game called MotoMax or Moto Racer. I was playing it and then I realize the BGM, was Pendulum – Slam! LOL I thought someone pre-loaded some custom track or whatever, but it’s for real. Even the intro ft. that track.
DnB is the for racing game, I wonder if Gran Tourismo 5 will have any DnB? |

| Yeah I played it a week ago at EB and I thought I recognized it there I too was a bit shocked to see that it made it in there. I would like to see more DnB in Games as well. Back in the day where you could alter stuff in the Need for speed games such as the soundtrack you could always customize with your own tunes and I usually had DnB or PsyTrance along with the occasional Initial D Super Eurobeat song :P |

give it up for the aussies! it's such
a shame that australian EDM is pretty
much ignored in north america.

I doubt Gran Turismo 5 will have any DnB, all the old GTs didn't have any. Need For Speed on the other hand will definitely have some, the Most Wanted soundtrack had these pretty "underground" (not like Pendulum, lol) DnB tracks:
15 Dieselboy & Kaos - Barrier Break
19 Stratus - You Must Follow (Evol Intent VIP)
21 Evol Intent, Mayhem & Thinktank - Broken Sword
Someone in the NFS team definitely likes HUMAN, lol. Although maybe it's because NFS is an American game so they tried to get American DNB on there? Who knows - it's there, and I like it.
beef curtains, keep waiting, lol. Sonic has made it clear they'll only cater to Circuit House and Tribal.
Off-Topic, I've now started to dislike it when DnB DJs throw in Pendulum tracks - I'm starting to see what you meant by 'cheesy DNB', E2EK1EL. |

for the most part Gran Turismo have always had relative enjoyable music selections.
especially the first GT. that had some awesome racing music.
the intro song for GT2 - the cardigans - losing my favorite game
was perhaps one of the best racing intro full motion music videos ive ever seen. (of course im not basing that opinion on graphics, GT2 was for PSX which is clearly outdated on that front) |

YES. I just recently loaded that song into my CD player. someone needs to remake that . The track is FIRE. |
