I haven't been watching SC much lately, but during the trophy presentation when the owner went out of his way to make sure that he thanked "The Lord" before he said anything else, all I could think was "Okay thanks for pushing your agenda on us." Yeah, I respect people's beliefs and faiths but I don't really need to hear about it.

Oh, and I'm really miffed that CBS is doing the broadcast solely for the fact that there won't be a Frank Caliendo pre-game bit.

That one, I knew would piss a lot of people off. Personally, I tend to be more lenient on that kind of stuff than a lot of people I know, at least, even though it's not my thing, personally, but that one definitely felt off in the same way hearing a really out-of-tune note does....where you just kinda cringe & hope, for the person who did it, that not too many other people noticed.

No it's on CBS. Frank Caliendo does the Fox pregame. The he did last week impersonating Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump was gold.

Ah. Misread that. I can do without Fox simply because I hate Joe Buck.

It ellicits the same response from me as if someone would blurt out "I'd like to take this opportunity to thank George Bush for protecting our freedom."

Actually no that would make me throw up in my mouth. The religious bit is just moderately annoying.

I cannot stand that man. He is Fox's announcing whore. The only reason he has a job is because of his father. Joe Buck is terrible.

lol.

I've grown to actually be amused by Theisman, as he's so incredibly unintelligent, and his constant notation that "If it was up to me, they would just ____" has grown so ridiculous that his downfall due to one or the other is completely predictable, and Tony Kornheiser's caught onto each and begun to poke fun at them. If it wasn't for Tony, though, I might have to throw some sort of projectile at the TV. Theisman embodies everything that's wrong with hiring former athletes as analysts...well, Theisman + Sean Salisbury, anyways.

Joe Buck's just an amazingly arrogant prick. He has no redeeming qualities. You can't even laugh at him. I'd rather listen to the game in another language than hear him...actually, I'd MUCH rather do that.
