| on the properties that ive bought and sold in america it takes three months from purchase to final closing,,,im sure you can think of a way to the deal up in three months..if you have friends in the neighbourhood,, when a potential buyer comes round have your friends sat outside drinking 40's and smoking weed....loud music is also a plus... |

Well on one hand I can say unless you assist paying for the house you dont really have much to say about it and as a parent that is putting a roof over your head he can do whatever he likes and he doesnt have to consult you eventhough it would be nice if he did. If you dont like it start looking for your own place.
If the house is smaller and more expensive it doesnt really make much sense. There must be another reason that he is not telling you. Moving is a big inconvenience. You have to consider packing, moving fee's, items breaking (they always do) and having to start from scratch in a new area. Why would he actually want to go through all of that hassle when you dont currently have a problem with where you are living now?
P.S. Potential buyers and brokers can be a real pain in the ass. Most brokers are really pushy and will do whatever they can to make the buck. In the past when my previous landlord was selling the house we were living in the broker would just show up at all hours of the day and night without calling and have buyers with her. Sometimes we would be in the middle of dinner and she would just show up. At this point be VERY VERY RUDE and make them as uncomfortable as you can. |

i agree with u 100% and im gonna confront him this week and let him have it, there are a bunch of reasons that i am speculating about but i gotta find out for myself...
and we r moving one town over (5 miles away) !!! Why?!?!? |
