i just lost all the data on my computer...all of it because of a broken RAID stripe....18 gigs of mp3's i dont know how many gigs of videos..this is the third time this has happened...each time because of my IBM hard drive.... IBM SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! THEY SHOULD ALL BURN IN HELL!!!!!! i think im still in shock because i havent broken anything yet...ahh i just need to vent or kill myself, whichever comes first...now i have to totally redo my computer and download about 60% of my mp3's again...thank god i just did an inventory of them 2 days ago..i really dont have time for this crap anymore...lol and the most ironic thing is....this problem arose when i tried to back up my mp3s today....i put in a new hard drive and the ibm took a hissy fit....GOD WHY DOST THOU SPITE ME?!?!?......im gonna go to bed now, have pity on my poor soul

Sorry to hear that, I always get worried when I think about how mad I would get if I lost all my mp3s. I have a 20gig hd and a 40gig hd both filled. I back up most of it but not all.

That is why is much better to buy albums than just downloading MP3s!

well...i bet that in order to purchase all of thos 18 GB of mps on CD it would cost, according to my estimations, approximately $12,346,896.27. yes. i'll have to agree with you. he definately should have purchased them on CD. maybe this time he'll learn. |

I just hope I don't lose all 32 GBs of MP3s that I have at the moment due to something silly like that... do you guys think I should back these songs up? Nah, let's take a chance and see how far can I go without backing them up...

yes, backup is the only way to go (which reminds me....)! AND IBM has nothing to do with it, i mean even TA's hd crashed about a month or so ago. I think everybody's hd crashes eventually, it's just a matter of time depending on how good ur hd is, how much rubbish is on it, how much u download and so on...
