I think you misunderstood. I started listening to electronic music back when Clinton won his 2nd term in '96. I have so much music from the past and I still collect so much that I chose to to devote precious time to continue growing and expanding. I do sneak in a class CD ever now and again. :) |

A largely overhyped year which in my mind was the beginning of the end for trance, but there were many great tracks also released within in. |
i would hardly say it was overhyped, the classics that have been mentioned already are proof of that. 2001 was more of "the beginning of the end" with albums like 76 and bunkka being released i would say.
nothing will be better than all the stuff before 96 though imo :toothless |
