Born in the summer of 1983, miami native Carlos Hernandez, alias Eyekon, caught his first glimpse into electronica by listening to his aunt's ghetto blaster pumping out 80's booty music and freestyle from the original days of Power 96. Today, he pumps out beat after techy beat all over the world, having dj'ed everywhere from Chicago to the mountains of Guayaquil, Ecuador. This time he brings his beats back into his Miami home every wednesday night from 8-10 on BPM.FM, as well as every saturday for his Eye Spy party, which is currently held at Area 51's club Allure.

Basic Perspective formed in late 2003 when producer Gabriel Lukosz and dj Arthur Schmidt realized they had the same interest and drive for melodic EDM. After pulling off remixes for Serge Devant, Interstate, Jav D, and Niklas Harding, as well as a number of bootlegs, they have combined to produce original progressive music that has caught the attention of the likes of Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden, Jon O Bir, Markus Schulz, and Above & Beyond. They now hold releases by the labels Conspiracy, Anjunadeep, Armada, Cold Harbour, & (soon) Ultra. Being aired on shows such as 'Global DJ Broadcast' , 'ASOT' & 'Trance Around the World' this duo is creating sounds that can please both current dancefloors and long time trance listeners. Keep a look out as they create waves at 2007 Winter Music Conference's Wet Grooves Party in Miami Florida. |
