Ok,ok,ok

I have finded a video tutorial for use the ableton live 6 like a multitracks arranger or platform for dj.This is an "Official Tutorial" but it's too hard to understand because it explain only how to use,not how to connect or using in a live performance.
Tonight in a live TV i have finded an interview with Paul van Dyk.In this video interview placed in the energy in zurich 2006 he have in the consolle 2 mac laptop(with the serato) connected with a midi-controller (too large),a midi-keyboard and a XONE:92.
Now,I have a Xone:92,a laptop connected with an external firewire sound card with 4 ch. out,a midi-keyboard and i use for my live set the traktor dj studio.I have tryed to use Ableton live 6 but now i can use it only like a drum machine or a loop player because i don't know (and i don't have finded nothing to see or to read) how i can (in live set) change the bpm between the tracks or how to connect the 4 channels of my sound card to the 4 virtual ableton's channels
i don't know if i have to buy a midi controller or which midi-controller (like midicontr. for liveset or a midicontr for djset)
This is my situation but i don't know tours, can anyone help me and the other user of this community for the ableton's questions????

Thank you

I would also love to get some info on this since i recently purchased Ableton.

Here goes nothing!

First of all:

1) You dont need to change the BPM of tracks in Ableton Live unless you're mixing onto CDjs or whatever else.

2) To connect a soundcard to live you need to set up your actual channels, a proper master channel and some return channels for previewing.

Actually, it, I'll try and make a video of myself doing it instead!

i've done a few for ableton's forums and did a sidechain example video on TA. unfortunatly i don't know any video capturing software that works with an external sound card so until that happens i can't do much more but type.
