Mod Alert Button

Hey Swamper :) and members of TA
Just had a quick suggestion. How about creating a mod alert button as one of the thread options available to everyone. I've noticed this is catching on, on some other sites and I beleive it works well.
This way someone can report a thread and enter theyre comments (reason for report) upon clicking the button and then an email would be sent out to all or just the mode handling that part of the forum. |

| If it was implemented there could be a very simple rule, abuse it and get a month long ban or similar. |

Oh I would have it added down next to the pm/buddy/website buttons so there is the potential that it could be accidentally pressed; I would just add a confirmation screen that loads after the button is pressed to hopefully keep from the button being abused accidentally. I would also enforce the punishment Greg mentioned. Overall I think it's a good idea and could be implemented with a fair amount of ease. We need something though as this board is getting fairly large. |
