Oakenfold: 2.1.07 @ Destiny Nightclub Orlando

Just got an e-mail from Destiny Nightclub in Orlando that Paul Oakenfold will be playing next Thursday, the 1st of February.
Obviously a very short notice on their end, but I noticed that he'll be in Miami that weekend, so perhaps he wanted to throw in another show.
I was at Destiny's opening night last October, Oakenfold & Sandra Collins both performed..... Was a decent show, so I think this will be a good time too....
Anyone in? |

In Miami, he'll be playing on 02.03.07 @ Finnegan's River Barge, which I have no clue as to what that is, or where it is.....

I have no friggin idea... All I know is that the address of the barge is:
401 SW 3rd Ave, Miami, Florida 33139
I'm not too knowlegable when it comes to areas in Miami, as every time I drive down from Daytona, I usually go to the beaches, downtown, or visit some friends in the Gables.
JUST COME UP TO ORLANDO! ha. It's a decent venue, I was only there for Oakenfold & Collins, so I don't know if they're keeping it up well or what.

| Destiny looks like a good venue. i saw vids of PVD there in nov i believe. but its just work and school that hold be back. would be a good roadtrip.. just dont think oakies worth it. |

| Yeah probably not the best drive for you for an event on a Thursday... I have class Friday @ 8am, but my girlfriend is flying down from Philly Thursday night, and thought this would be a good idea to get her week down here started. |

| destiny is probably one of the better clubs in orlando. the only problem is that its not in orlando, its way down in i-drive area (aka tourist central). i wish this place was downtown, it would do a much better business. as for oakie, i'll never go out of my way to see another oakenfold show and i'll NEVER pay to go to one. just my opinion. |

i know you're talking about orlando... but does anyone know the deal with the finnigan's river venue in miami? i think i remember reading somewhere it was free right?:conf: |
