Well CL has been around as long as i have been in the scene if not longer. His tunes such as Rush Hour were hit on Oakenfold's 1999 EM tour. CL sound has changed in many ways since then but he still is the master of tech trance and trance with alot of psy elements in it.
After M.I.K.E. he is the second DJ who brings out the true passion i have for Trance. I have seen him more than a dozen times now and i have NEVER had a bad or even a average night when he is playing. He amazes me each time. His sound can be best compared to a cross between PvD and John OO Fleming. Or. As some would say, the tech stuff you hear of in weird video games lolz. John Askew also is someone who has somewhat of a similar style to CL.
CL will be doing a 1 hour guestmix next Tuesday on John OO Fleming's radio show ' Global Trance Grooves ' on DI.fm. Tune in and i am sure you will get a taste of what his sound is like but mind you, that is just a radio show. His set will be different at GUV. I don't wanna build your hopes up too much because i don't know your exact tatse in Trance. Just go see yourself on March 3rd and even if it is not your cup of tea then you always have Gallery or Drink or maybe even Orange room :tongue2 |
