Just curious, but if I were to have a cell phone in NYC, say with Verizon or T-mobile and someone from europe, or any international country were to call me, do I get charged extra aside from the basic usage of minutes from my calling plan ? The last thing I would wanna see is $4.99 per minute for each call to my phone from outside the USA.

Not bad, maybe I should go with T-Mobile.

of all the plans I've seen, incoming international calls count as regular airtime for verizon, t mobile and sprint. and if you want to make phone calls, it's a lot cheaper to buy cards online. there are several websites I use to buy calling cards. i can give you the sites if you're interested in making international calls too. :D

Thanx, Im not worried so much about calling out to those places, but just receiving them. I know if u call its clearly much more expensive. I just dont wanna be charged more than the usual usage of minutes aka $500 phone bill.
