Those were the days. Bike riding. Complaining about Herricks. Glow stringing. Random air pockets on bathing suits. Surprise butsekz. The works. How I do miss those times. ;-; |

Awesome, congrats and good luck getting through hurdle number 4.
1 - Undergrad (GPA) [check]
2 - MCAT [check]
3 - Applications & Interviews [check]
4 - Med School [in progress] |
wouldn't it be nice if it was the last hurdle. After being accepted you need to:
5 - rock out the grades
6 - get into your desired clerkship
7 - get a good residency
8 - find a job
It seems like the last step, but its actually the first step into the real world. Good luck and best wishes. |

You dont get 'into a desired' clerkship. Clerkships are just the clinical education part of school, they are manditory, and you get to select which ones you want to take. Also, those steps vary depending on what you want to do. In my case, for surgury... its Clerkship -> 1yr. Internship -> 4 yrs. Residency -> 1yr. Fellowship -> Find a job. :eyespop:  :eyespop:  |

Oh. I thought you get into a clerkship based on your grades. Anyway, it's still quite mindboggling. Good luck to you too. I have nothing but respect for someone willing to go through that much. I thought my 8 years was crazy, apparently its nothing compared to the 12 or however many years of stuff you go through. |
