One of the best nights of my life. John Tejada ing destroyed it and left little remains by the time Alex Under came on. And wow, when Under came on, there were no survivors. Great atmosphere, mellow people and vibe, HOT girls; overall one of the best parties I've ever been to, period. I couldn't stop dancing. Vidal and I were jumping up and down like mad men the whole night. I honestly only took breaks for water and the restroom. Tejada was rockin' it old-school with wax and doing a fantastic job - all of his tracks built and progressively got better. Alex Under was using a Macbook Pro with the M-Audio Evolution MIDI controller (ing great piece of technology). I didn't see what application he was using but I think it was Live. Madam DJ Modesty opened, I only got about 30 minutes of her set but she was holding down the dancefloor. She's also pretty hot too. After Tejada nuked the dancefloor and left his mark, Under took off in the same vein and multiplied it by 2. It was a non-stop dance-your-ing-ass-off all night marathon, and I rarely have those nights anymore. Maybe I've gotten a bit jaded, but man, nights like these rarely come along anymore. The second to last tune Alex ended with was "El Encuentro," and I just lost all control. To hear this anthem by the man himself was breathtaking. I also saw Amber Reyn, Luis Rosario, the other half of Acid Circus, Derek Michael, and all the regular Droid folk/hotties that accompany their parties. I love the techno community -- I love how they're down for anything, don't give a about glitz and glam, just want to have a good time, dance-their-asses-off and say " off" to strobe lights and candy ravers. Definitely your more experienced, knowledgeable clubber. V-Bro, I started posted 'dem Droid stickers up nukka! Soon all of L.A. will be Droiderized, muahahhahhahahha! And thanks for making this night happen homez. I can't thank you enough. I'm still speechless.. :tongue2
P.S. I think the LA Darkroom pics will be up soon.
