For friggin Jetlag!!!
It's the second night now I've got 3 hours sleep or less!!
I stayed awake all night on tuesday night, slept for 14 hours wednesday night in hopes to be over this .
And now again last night I slept for only 3 hours :whip:

You have to be very regimented with yourself and utilize 20 minute naps to reset your body clock.
Flying to the UK, I sleep as much on the plane as I can (thanks to gravol) and although it isn't a fulll night's sleep, when I land in the morning, I can usually keep going. If I am really tired, I will have a 20 min nap but I will not allow myself to sleep properly until at least 10pm.
Coming back to Canada, you gain the time back so I again try and sleep on the plane (passes the time too) and it just is a very long day but no longer than a Sat if you go to Sonic ;)
EDIT: forgot to mention but as you are already jet lagged, there isn't much you can do about it. Prevention is the only way. Time is the only cure. |

Umm no. You place your left hand thumb on the inside of the wrist of your right hand, and the middle finger in the middle of the palm, and press and hold for 5 seconds. Didn't you read the manual?
I've flown to Europe a few times, and never been jetlagged, but then again my body is used to sleeping at random times each day, so any sleep time it welcomes.
P.S. The only cure is more cowbell.

lay on couch

Melatonin actually does work pretty good.
I find a 2 hour time change worse than like a 6+ time hour change. |

I feel the pain cos I keep going back home to India and its like a 11 hour difference between here and there, virtually day here = night there. The best thing imo is to make sure that if you feel sleepy at odd hours, resist it until you reach the normal hours but by resist I dun mean pound 2 cans of redbull. You just have to keep your eyes open somehow and yes, you probably wun be as productive that day so try doing something which involves more physical work than mental.
And sleep at a time which is a bit earlier than your normal hours, passing out by 10pm usually helps. If you like nyquil, that should help the cause too but I dun like it...I feel too drowsy the next day!! :):) |

Me too. I have never been jetlagged, mostly due to crazy sleeping partterns anyways. I don't sleep all that much in the first place so staying awake all day is easy.
