Anyone get it.? I got it for Christmas but still havent opened it. I heard its better than III but not II. Whats your opinions.?
Also my socom II name is Techno Wh0re, any1 up for some war :p |

I have socom 3 but i need to get a headset and a network adapter errrr...Hard to find.
Oh I heard Combined Assualt is just an expansion for part 3 just new maps i guess but you can still play people that has part 3. |

It's not really an expansion. It has a whole new offline game, with some new weapons.
The multiplayer contains a new co-op mode which yourself and 3 other friends can get ed up by some surprisingly decent AI. The normal multiplayer that we're all used to isn't that bad. It's pretty much like SOCOM 3, which also means the same hit detection (but better then S2), although the maps in Combined Assault are all highly enjoyable (other then Prowler IMO). Zipper did a pretty good job on CA. It ain't no S2, but it's a hell of a lot better then S3, and pretty much nothing else can compete with it as far as online shooters go for the PS2.
I haven't played the game in a good month or so, mainly because my clan stopped playing, but I have been getting the urge to play again, they don't call it SOCRACK for nothing! My name on there is the same as my forum name, BlAcKNoVa |
