| I tried recording a mix with outdacity today and for some reason the sound would often times skip. I was recording it on a pretty old computer, so I turned down the sample size from 32 to 16 bits, this somewhat helped the problem as the skips were a lot less prevalent but they were still there. Anybody ever run into this problem, if so do you have any suggestions? Thanks. |

| What's the sample rate? (look for ____ kHz). 44.1kHz should be sufficient, at 16bit. 16bit resolution should be enough, particularly for mixes. |

Try the Beta version. I had that problem too. It sort of sounds like a cd skipping. I then downloaded the Beta version and installed that and have not had any problems.
Hope this helps.
