cor short version: cops were parked in the middle of my lane. there was nowhere for me to go. I tried to merge but couldn't. They gave me a ticket for blocking the intersection that would've never been blocked if their fat pig asses weren't parked on my lane.

I have one thing to say: YOU SOBE COPS!
I was making a left turn onto Washington Avenue, a major street on the beach, and noticed a police blockade right in front of me on washington. There were at least three cars parked right smack in my lane blocking traffic.
I tried to merge into the other turn lane but of course its against the rules to let people merge on south beach. There was nothing I could do but stop (the cop cars were parked right in the lane into which I was turning onto). Kept trying to merge for a few more seconds when a Pig waves me forward.
"Do you know why I pulled you?" he asked. "No sir," I said, because I had thought he was just trying to help me merge - silly me. He wound up giving me a citation for BLOCKING THE ING INTERSECTION! Wtf could I have done? Their own damn cars were blocking traffic, there was nowhere to go, I was trying to merge. wtf?!
I took some pics with my cell phone. I would have taken high res shots and some video too but my [brand new $500] camera was stolen over winter break.
This picture CLEARLY shows multiple cop cars parked right smack on the *inside lanes* Not on the side, not near parking meters, on the inside lanes of a major south beach street already known for its traffic congestion. YOU SOBE.
You can bet I'm taking this to court but I can NOT afford a lawyer at this point (usually I just cut a check for $75 and give it and the ticket to my lawyer and they just disappear). I got no legal experience except a bunch of international law classes I'm taking in college which doesn't exactly help. Plus I got so much other on my plate now you wouldn't believe it if I told you. Gah. |

I thought it was rather obvious that the dollar sign was included as emphasis that I can't afford ticket related expenses now. guess I should have dumbed it down to c0r standards, my bad. |
