Nimrod - My life (16 Bit Lolita's remixes) [Maelstrom]

The Dutch 16 Bit Lolita's make their debut on Maelstrom records with 3 different remixes of Nimrod's new single, called My Life. And once again Peter and Aad deliver the goods! The Vocal and Instrumental mixes are a perfect illustration of their trademark sound: extremely groovy basslines, great melodies with housy influences and a touch of trance, all blended together with impeccable production skills. The Drowsing Rod remix is a bit deeper and more progressive oriented than the other mixes, but the bassline is once again outstanding! So it's hard for me to pick a favourite out of the available mixes. :)

Nice track, but is it me or does it sound an awful lot like something Prydz would produce.

Great stuff from 16 Bit Lolita's, again. :)

To be fair on the Lolitas, they have had this sound for a few years now. Not their best work though, as far as I'm concerned.

Indeed.

If this sounds like something Prydz would produce, it's rather because Prydz got inspired by the Lolitas' sound than the other way around :)

Decent tracks but nothing mindblowing imo. I wish they'd start releasing some of their older stuff. Too many good tracks that are still unreleased..

Apparentely, some of those "older" tracks will get a release in the next few months. There was something about it in another thread here, but I can't remember which one...
