i actually checked this out at about 530..was upstairs in Pachita and Mario Calegari was playing really hard tribal..heard a Katana track in there..cant remember which one..went down to hear JP for the first time in a year at about 630..was playin Ame-Rej and from then til 815 was playing tech..me being a serious JP hater was impressed with the hour and 45 mins i heard him..did get a lil annoying hearing Rej for about 45 mins but other than that..i enjoyed it

Its not like JP really sux and like any other DJ it all depands on how much drugs used before & thru the set or the lack of them to make the night good or bad, but when it comes to JP: I rather stay away from that crowd. Its just me not being comfie when it comes to it. Even though I heard some really good sets from JP but in the same time I recall years ago hopping clubs and getting turned off with JP K-Holed playing dumb ass single beat for 30 minutes at around 7-8am in different speeds and like that on other occasions too. I just get bad flashbacks vibes of those events when somebody in my gang asks me if I want to go check out JP.

PS. There was one time when Junior "DJ Rolling Stone" Vasquez went to spin at some party in Israel and he got so high so fast that in about 20 minutes into his set the crowd was throwing bottles into the DJ booth. (Funny enough nobody ever did it when JP would K-Hole)

PSS. Calegari is damn good!!! (Check Out my Vids on YouTube of him main line at Pacha right after NYE)

Dude, Mario Calegari ripped Pacha a new assh*le the weekend after NYE. I thought Kieth Blackstone was hard on Bass but Mario wasnt joking around not giving it a rest from the point he started and until he finished bumbing it out at Pacha and moved over to Gypsy Tea where we folloed him. :toothless

PS. JP crowd are all angels on sunday in church after his parties while hung over sitting the service out. (I heard some stories  )

PSS. Lets not go down the memory lane of walkin out of clubs with pockets full of money because a lot of us been there and done that and it isn't anything to be proud of actually. (in my opinion of course)

1. I was 14 when I started selling. Then again, Frankie Boones was my neighbor and I got my first invite from him to his party back in good old 1990. (and my life was never the same again. TY FB :p )
