The war didnt stop because of the winter, you idiot. Actually, that period of winter 1941-1942 saw some of the heaviest fighting. Nazis were unable to pull up enough reserves on time and Russian reserves reversed German advances.
Just like the next winter of 1942 when Germans made the push for Stalingrad (OH, NOOOOO ... the winter didnt stop them that time!!)
Just because its winter doesnt mean Germans said "well, lets have a time-out". They made a strategic mistake of holding positions to attack in the spring, which backfired. |

It was much more than that-you cow. The Germans couldn't move because of the rain which turned the roads into mud. Slowing the Germans down. And than winter which was extremely cold froze the engines of German tanks and suppy trucks. The Germans also didn't have any winter clothing so they were ing freezing.

And you think THE ADVANCING RED ARMY didnt use these same roads either? You think they had super-human strength to navigate their trucks, armies, supplies? They went through the same crap. They used the same gasoline. They are not super humans, and can tolerate the cold just as much as Germans could. You are just making stupid silly jokes here. AND GERMANS WERE MUCH BETTER DRESSED, EQUIPPED, SUPPLIED AND TRAINED. And thats on the record. Thats why so many Russians have died, because they were outmatched in most categories for the first half of the war. Have you see the movie Enemy At The Gates? Come on, man, stop being silly willy.
These 30 million people starved, froze, and were killed by Germans. A third of that were battleground dead. |
