i'm having problems making offbeat baselines

i want to make ones like this

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

however they dont sound nothing like that!!!!

can somone give me tips on:

-what to use as a patch, ive been told to use the standard sign on the esx24 and play with the drive, a s d and r... is this a correct??

-also what sort of filters and effects to use

also if anyone has a driving baseline patch they could give me it would be very much appriciated. ive tried and tried to get this driving sound and it just aint working

- and whether its a 16 note or whatever?!?!

gracias

sounds like the bass i use. you can listen in my link to see if its similar. if so i use v station. just get a blank patch slecect a triangle, saw and square wavforms ( play with their levels) play with the adsr have it in mono with no effects.

this is basically how i do it then eq it and compress.
