again, i'm not sure about the christian thing but i still wouldn't jump to conclusions. people use religion to be artistically profound all the time.
The crucifix has IMO become the official symbol of the rock star.
I think next week I'm going to start a music group with my buddies and we're going to call ourselves "Fire and Brimstone", and all our tracks are going to be named after holy scripture.
... doesn't necessarily mean anything. just me trying to be profound, and things like this tend to get a rise out of people, whether good or bad, it's all great in terms of self promotion.
Evanescence on the other hand is ultra-Christian, but they're very very subtle about waving the cross around everywhere. Same goes for The Flash Brothers (also EDM). So yeah... wouldn't jump to conclusions. Nonetheless, I personally don't care if they're Christian indie electro. Their music is freakin' awesome, along with their techno and electro affiliates, Boys Noize, Tiga, Erol Alkan etc. I'm really stoked for this :happy2: |
