So my ex-gf just text messaged me...

What's up guys. Long time, no talk. So, on my way home from work tonight my ex-gf text messages me. She said that she really needed to talk to me. I haven't spoken to her in well over a year. I was thinking maybe she broke up with her bf and wanted to maybe hang out. So, I finally get home and she asks if she could call my cell. I was a little reluctant. I was asking her why and she said because something happened lastnight. I thought maybe she got knocked up and needed to talk to someone. So, I give her my phone number and she calls me. She started off by asking, "Did you call me from your phone when you were out with your friends lastnight?" I said, "Ummm, nooooo, I was in my bed sleeping because I had to be up early this morning." Then she was saying that someone has been leaving obscene voicemails on her phone and it's really annoying and that she's gonna go to the police about it. A few New Years' ago, one of my friends took my phone and was saying random to her with it. It was all in good drunken fun (we've all made drunk phone calls). That was the last time I "spoke" to her. I can kind of see where she's coming from but wtf? It's great to know what she thinks about me. After all that was said and done she asked me how I was doing and this and that. She said she wasn't working at the time. I made it a point to tell her, "I got into the electricians union and I'm gonna be making a lot of money so I'm kinda excited about that." She just said, "Oh, that's great. I always thought you should do that with your father." It was just more small talk after that. Anyway, that's my rave/rant/whatever you wanna call it.

I love not being the first in some threads and not getting to read "random" monologs, given that I see few short replies, as here, to not waste much time.
