| Ive recently seen a sony cd recorder (RCDW100). Can you use these to record from vinyl straight to cd, or through the mixer to cd? I have a Numark DXM06 digital mixer. |

yes
That is similar to the sony one I have
Works perfectly- I never record to computer, just straight to CDR-W (in case I screw up and need to redo it ;) ) |

Don't forget about the flash-based portable recorders you can buy now:
- Edirol R-09
- M-Audio Fast Track
Clearly you'll have to take the file onto a PC before you can burn it to disc, but it's another option.

Ahh, they have a "rev 2" now :)
$190 is a bit expensive, considering you have to use external flash.
