Anthony - sorry to hear about what happened to your girl. that's scary , but at least you were there with her and you were able to take care of her! i would definitely go back to the club and talk to the management there, at least warn them of the situation... and tell all your female friends to be more cautious about their drinks. |

Excellent. Glad you're not giving up. You really CAN make all the difference. You'd be surprised how much of getting this guy arrested is going to be on YOU.
As for recording him, in most states you have to let the person you're talking to know that they're being recorded in order for it to be used in court. If you can locate him, I'd just hand all the info over to the cops when you file your report. If you can give them enough info, who knows? They may get a search warrant and find all kinds of things. Like I said; You don't know if they're watching him already and have just been waiting for one more victim like your g/f to come along to put him in jail. And even if they're not, they take attemtped rape pretty seriously.
I wish you the best of luck...and don't give up until you've explored every possible way you can to identify him! Think outside the box and consider ANY security camers that he could be on (nearby 7-11 convenience stores, etc.).
You might even go file that report NOW and ask the cops if they can have a sketch artist re-create his image while your g/f's memory is still fresh. Again, it may lead to identifying him now AND/OR later.

About 6 months ago I went out to a local club with some friends. I had a couple of drinks, was doing my thing... chilling out. An hour and a half after I had gotten there, and 2-3 drinks later, I started feeling REALLY drunk... like the kind of drunk you get when you've had 12 drinks. Everything started to spin, I started feeling drowsy, I was losing my balance. I felt so weird.
Immediately I went to my roomie and told him I needed to leave. I said I felt really tired, and that I wanted to go home to go to bed.
We ended up leaving, and I went home and instantaneously passed out. This would have been around midnight or so. I didn't wake up until 3 in the afternoon the next day, even though my alarm clock had gone off, and my phone beside me rang over 24 times (I was supposed to meet someone.) This is REALLY bizarre from me because I am the worlds lightest sleeper, and can't even sleep through someone so much as touching my bedroom door.
Anyway, I finally woke up, and I felt like serious , like I had been punched in the head. It wasn't the regular hang over feeling, which I couldn't imagine I would have had a hangover anyway. I still don't know to this day whether I was roofied or not, but if I was, it was massively scary. Ever since then, I have watched my drinks carefully. |

turns out, it could be GHB. anyways i'm going to the police station wtih her tomorrow to file a report and see if this scumbag has been reported before. if so, i'm going full steam on this
edit: also, while cleaning up the next day one of our good girlfriends found an empty visine bottle next to the bar. my mouth dropped |

| Women should never accept drinks from strangers these days. Women should buy their own drinks or only get them from close friends. Times have changed; I just heard a similar story like this the other day. Girls have to be careful, hold onto their drink & not leave them just sitting around |
