I would alert the security on the description of the guy that you saw give your girl the drink.
9 times outta 10, people wear the same thing to clubs more often than once, I do sometimes, thats how people recognize me from past parties and venues they have seen me at.
I would befriend him at first, keep my intentions friendly and beat his ass when hes not expecting it.

Anthony, it might have been GHB and not necesarily rohypnol. From a couple people I know who have been slipped the stuff, rohypnol doesn't really cause vomiting but GHB can definitely make you throw up a lot. I know this first hand, as I was slipped GHB at a place that used to be in SF called Sno-Drift in like 2001/2002. Luckily I knew something was wrong and got a cab ride home before I got really messed up. I blacked out about a minute after I got home, woke up in throw up and threw up a whole bunch the next day.
I had no clue that was it but was so freaked I went to the doctor and got tested and came back positive for GHB.

Dave after speaking with more people from this party, i've run into three other girls that ran into this same guy and had the exact same problem... they said their drinks tasted super funny(but they didn't get it from this guy, maybe he got it when they put them down for a second). rumor has it this guy had GHB and was giving it to his friends. so i think you're theory is spot on.
to everyone else... THANK YOU for your kind words, i'm sharing because i was niave to these situations because it's something my friends would never do so i've never even talked about it... now i'm just giving a warning because it hit so close to home |

| dude, chics should never take drinks from strangers unless they are taking it directly from the bartender. random guy walking up to a girl with a drink is suspect in every way. if you ever get drugged with ghb, the best remedy other than vomitting and water is potassium via bananas/pineappple juice/etc... ghb by itself is pretty safe, but mixed with alcohol, can cause respiratory failure |

gotcha.
did I miss the venue? i didn't see it in the original thread either. just curious where this happened....
it may have happened to a female friend of mine a week ago at a mansion party we were at and i was affected too as i finished off the suspect drink in question. |
