And my little review...

Magnetic 2 was quite the interesting party. Firstly, I didn’t get frisked; there was no pat-down, nobody searching my small camera bag, nothing. I didn’t see anybody else get checked, either. Had it been anywhere else in Seattle I wouldn’t have felt the least bit secure, yet surprisingly that was the safest I’d felt at a party in a long time.

There’s something that’s vastly different about the Pac Sci parties that makes them so much more enjoyable than the usual parties. No, it’s not the ability to party in a place I didn’t think I’d step foot in until I had kids, and it only takes a short amount of time to breeze through all of the different exhibits. It’s the incredible diversity of the parties that I’ve only seen matched at the Love Parade. The party was organized by multiple different promoters. As opposed to the typical events where one promoter would organize three different rooms, there were four promoters that organized their own rooms. This brought out a very wide selection of both music/DJs and their respective fans. People who normally come for Deep House would be dancing to Progressive Psy Trance, and people who normally came for Breaks/Drum ‘n Bass would be dancing to Minimal Techno.

I love the Pac Sci parties. It's a shame there isn't going to be Minimal or Tech House in the Dinosaur Room this time around. That room had me dancing harder than I had in a long time, I was so ing sore the next day.
