OMFG my cheeks are so sore from laughing so much
If you are a fan of their tv show then i really do suggest u get down to see these guys live, i didnt think a tv show on a live stage would work... but these guys have pulled it off perfectly.
I seriously cant believe how fast they do scene changes and costume changes its like they are superman getting into the phone booth... I must admit i read their book while in london, so i knew most things that were going to happen.
Some things were a bit of a shock though like vicky saying that she had her 7th child while shopping in supre :haha: they also played around with some other aussie things like turkey slapping which had them in fits of laughter on stage, they mentioned broadmeadows in the "computer says no" sketch, also people like molly meldrum and guy sebastian got a mention :)
The more funnier things were when they grabbed people up from the audience once during the Des Kaye sketch where david got 2 guys to play hide the sausage :p the guy from the audience was ting himself, i would of been too tho...
They also pulled up a chick in the Marjorie Dawes sketch and in the usual fatfighters way yelled abuse at this poor chick... she took it well :stongue:
But my fav bit would have to be in the president/sebastian sketch where sebastian shows the president his mangina to cheer him up, i swear i thought at any moment now its just gonna pop out as david was jumping around on stage :eek:

im so late with this, but have recently hired the dvds and now i want to see the live show.
Is it sold out in melbourne, because i want to go get tickets...
At work the other day, one of our lending managers was one the phone to a client who had enquired about an increase to her loan. We did the financial checks and it didnt meet servicing. So the lending manager responded with 'Computer says no' ... you had to be there but it was the funniest n thing i've ever heard.
Anyway who loves the show, and who wants to go? (if there are tickets left) |

they released a new show last week for late feb try that
otherwise i got my tickets off ebay coz when my friends bought theres they didnt know i was coming home :)
u really have to go see it, dont watch the live dvd before going tho coz it will ruin some parts :p |

Yep I'm a massive fan, so much that Millson bought me a Dafid speaking doll for my birthday & I also got a talking little Britain pen for Christmas!!
I wanted to buy tickets but thought they were a bit expensive & the fact it was at vodafone arena turned me off. But last night my dreams came true when a friend I actually haven't spoken to in a while called up & offered me 2 free tickets!! So I'm off there now.. reports tomorrow!! |

If you are contemplating buying tickets, but haven't yet, do it before its too late (I'm assuming its not too late yet?).
Was so much better than I thought it would be, these guys are amazing to see in the flesh (& there is a fair bit of that shown). When they slip out of character for minute & start chatting to the crowd & each other is the highlight of the show. I too had sore cheeks when I left, but it was from the hard seats.. hehehe no joking they were my face cheeks from laughing... :tongue2 |
