Wow this is my first time at these forums, and there is some good stuff floating around here. i am really impressed.
my track is more on the house side of things, but it is melodic and accessible, so maybe some of you will like it.

The beginning kinda reminds me of Aphex Twin somehow. However, then it starts to become alot more housey and pads that would cause you to walk on clouds.
From the sound of that kick, it sounds like you are making good use of your TR-909. However, there are times that the elements seem to overcome the kick just a bit. I don't regularly listen to house music, so I could be wrong about the placement of the kick, so take it with alongside your own expertise on the issue.
Good vocal samples... they are very warm alongside the piano tickles.
Very ambient-ish. This is what house is all about. I'm impressed. |
