Having seen the judge 3 times before he had been awful once, average once, and pretty good once so I knew it'd be hit or miss as to whether he would be any good this time. As it turns out he managed to pull off the worst set i have ever seen by anyone amateur or professional, it really was that bad. His mixing was awful, without exaggerating almost every mix was a full blown trainwreck, his track selection was awful and the set had no flow what so ever. At one point he even tried a few Eddie Halliwell style tricks that simply didn't work, everyone that was stood around me just stopped dancing and looked at each other with a 'what the ' type expression on their faces. It was truly embarrassing and for someone that's been in the business at the highest level for god knows how many years it just wasn't acceptable.

Just to prove how bad he really was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1umCGltALk

The worst i heard was judge jules at tidy at the magna centre the arena was full before he came on and it was nearly empty before he finished he played jlo - jenny from the block ive heard him get booed numerous times at crasher and heard quite a few worse sets from him than boxing day.

I don't think there is any possible way I could respect Steve following this performance. I'd have rather sat through 5 hours of Jonathen Peters tag teaming with Gabriel & Dresden than here 10 minutes of that set again.

Was it thae mixing that did it? Saw him on NYE 3 months before that and the track selection was a lot of fun, but there was definitely some sketchiness between tracks...the recorded sets I've listened to since then have been far worse, though...or maybe it's just with the ability to sit down & listen.

For me, though, a +1 to Oakey. As if the set, itself, wasn't bad enough, he came on after Junkie XL :wtf:. Talk about taking a room full of energy & just smothering the mood with a big, wet blanket of bla.

OMMG?! Judge Jules sucks why did I buy his album:wtf: :conf:

Tiesto last september in chicago. utter garbage. it's hard to imagine a guy winning best dj 3 years in a row clashing beats and trainwrecking that consistently.
