Security @ NYC Pacha (pg. 2)

| pacha security is funny... when we closed out the basement for gabriel and dresden security took glowsticks that we had in our dj bags... "no glowsticks"... no big deal. later that night they were selling them for $5 a pair in the downstairs bathroom :( so we bought them all back... :tongue2 |

On the subject: thats so lame. tnx for a laugh. I dunno what to tell you, but that they reserve the right to let in who they want to let inside. simple as that.
PS. Grow some hair on your face or at least by some fake one and glue it!!! (I go to clubs and bouncer look at my 18 year old picture on the ID and ask me what happened to that nice looking young man?? I always say: Drugs, Sex & Clubs) |

i absolutely hate the white dude thats always tryna scheme on clubbers. i would say theyre [the bouncers] doing their jobs, but the fockers bag u for whatever reason, bring u to the backroom to resell what they took from u originally n then throw u back onto the floor.

Um actually they do. Have you not encountered them? They are much cooler than the normal bouncers, but also dont f*ck around if need be. I love that about Made....definately a plus for them. |

playing a devil's advocate... and having worked as a bouncer myself - I can tell you one thing. If you look too young to me, you will definitely look too young to cops. If there's any doubt about validity of your ID and the choices are: a)I Let you in, risk fines (TO ME), possible action against my place of work, possible unemployment or b)Turning you away - guess which option I am going with?
You want to be let in if you look too young? Dress smart and fashionably - don't wear sneaks and some clever t-shirt (a dead give away). Also, you have a higher chance of getting in if you're accompanied by several cute girls, rather than your D&D club geeky friends.
That's it. Oh, and p.s. no one was forcing you to stand outside. I am sure you could have found at least one diner or coffee shop in the area to keep calling from.

tru tru...
cant blame the bouncer for making quick judgments based on dress. its part of their job. if u REALLY want to get into the party, dress a bit more sophisticated/older in order to keep from getting into the same situation. if u wanna dress scruffy then its 50/50. |

As much as it DOESN'T matter but you actually find 20 parties with great EDM to your liking in nYc almost on any night of the week.
I wouldn't even come the second time to Pacha if they didn't let me into their club and let me spend some money to helppay their saleries and for Marilo's Jet fuel. :rolleyes: lol |
