I know that, and if you knew me better I often go to techno events, especially when I used to go to Montreal. I love preach, cox, dave the drummer, liebing, tenaglia, quite a few mtl locals, etc. I prefer trance, tho, and with my hectic schedule, I have to be choosy about what events I attend, and thus being at a lot more trance stuff in the last couple years. People ASSUME I only like the "holy trinity" of trance which is not the case at all.

However, I think that if other people decide that they only like trance (which is the case a lot of the time) its not your place to tell them to get off the bandwagon. Why invest their time in knowing who Jeff Mills is, if they dont give a ? People can like who the f*ck they want, and your opinion should not be inflicted upon them.

Not trying too hard to be rude, but I hate that . Just because you like rock doesnt mean you have to like: classic, punk, metal, hairbands, grunge, death, etc.

Anyways rant over....thanks for the Jeff mills info, I appreciate it anyways.

Trust me they have nothing better than anybody else......the reason they act like complete crack heads is because the word ecstasy to them translates to "head drug" hence the reason they whip their heads back and forth.......I guess they think they get some kinda extra high from doing that (no joke.)

As I do agree with the general consensus about the particular group of asians who inhabit the nightlife here in NYC, I do not think it's fair to generalize all asians into one single image. The video shows people dancing in an asian culture, it's how they dance over there and as much of a parody that it is to us, I think we should atleast draw the line and respect that it's their culture and thats the way they portray themselves rather than mock and generalize.

I'm not saying this because i'm taking this serious, but something like this can get out of hand and lead to unwarranted bashings and blur the lines between a small joke and and a racist joke.

Presume we are all adults here to keep this within a decent level of humor.

Clearly Im not referring to those who dont fit under the category. It was just the small number of ppl u guys usually come across when u see out that make it obvious u know whats up when u see em.

I understand what you're saying I agree, just that common knowledge amongst those who know can leave a false image to those who don't know. That's where the generalization comes in people are led to believing a certain thing before they've witnessed it themselves.

Completely know what you mean, but also understand how a seemingly harmless joke can turn into a completely different beast on its own.
