You can't take the opinions of the majority because that will only lead to the ordinary. People on this forum can't know if you've successfully pulled off a look because they would have to know your personality more fully. Also the vast majority of people wouldn't venture a look that didn't agree with current trends. Ironically the people who invented those trends have since moved on to new territory.
