So.
At my local starbucks this morning on Mission Blvd here in Fremont.
The line of course was super long, everyone getting their coffee fix..:nervous:
I realized I only had 100.00 on me, when I went to pay, the starbucks lady says we cant take 100.00, sorry..
The gent behind me, a Huge Mexican looking fellow, with a cowboy hat and a brushy moustache abruptly interupted and said "thats ok, put it on my card"...
Mind you my bill was like 11.90..
He paid for the full bill! He says "Don't worry about it, someday you'll do the same for someone else"
Very nice man, Ive never had that happen to me. Kinda renewed my faith in people around the bay area.
So if you see me in line at starbucks, say hello, I may just buy you a coffee or something as I owe a good deed!
Has this ever happened to anyone? Happy friday everyone! |

ok maybe this isn't related but i felt like posting it lol enjoy
SAND & STONE
TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING
THROUGH THE DESERT.
DURING SOME POINT OF THE
JOURNEY, THEY HAD AN
ARGUMENT; AND ONE FRIEND
SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE
IN THE FACE.
THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED
WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT
SAYING ANYTHING,
WROTE IN THE SAND:
TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.
THEY KEPT ON WALKING,
UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS,
WHERE THEY DECIDED
TO TAKE A BATH.
THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN
SLAPPED GOT STUCK IN THE
MIRE AND STARTED DROWNING,
BUT THE FRIEND SAVED HIM.
AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM
THE NEAR DROWNING,
HE WROTE ON A STONE:
TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SAVED MY LIFE.
THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED
AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND
ASKED HIM, "AFTER I HURT YOU,
YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW,
YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?"
THE OTHER FRIEND REPLIED
"WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US
WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN
IN SAND WHERE WINDS OF
FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY.
BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES
SOMETHING GOOD FOR US,
WE MUST ENGRAVE IT IN STONE
WHERE NO WIND
CAN EVER ERASE IT."
LEARN TO WRITE
YOUR HURTS IN
THE SAND AND TO
CARVE YOUR
BENEFITS IN STONE.
THEY SAY IT TAKES A
MINUTE TO FIND A SPECIAL
PERSON, AN HOUR TO
APPRECIATE THEM, A DAY
TO LOVE THEM, BUT THEN
AN ENTIRE LIFE
TO FORGET THEM.
DO NOT VALUE THE THINGS
YOU HAVE IN YOUR LIFE, BUT VALUE
WHO YOU HAVE IN YOUR LIFE ! |

now send it to 10 people you know and you will have good luck for the rest of your life (ok, j/k. i made this part up.)

| A nice deed similar to that happened to me once. I rolled up to a Jack in the Box drive-thru at about the same time as another guy in a truck, and I just let him go since I wasn't in a hurry or anything. I placed my order and pulled up to the cashier, and she told me the guy in front of me paid for my order. By that time, he already drove out of the lot so I didn't have time to thank him, but that was nice of someone to do that, regardless of the cost. |
