Hi! I've just recently bought some scanners and lasers (for home/party use), and decided to get a DMX controller so I can make my own effects. Basically, the built in programs on the lights are wank and they never sync to the beat very well. Howevere I'm really struggling with DMX controller and how to program it. I understand DMX, addressing, cables etc but I dont understand how to make my lights do want I want. So far I've been able to manually pan/tilt my lights with the joystick and change colours/gobos with the channel faders but I dont understand how to program a light show.
The manual for my controller is pants, it doesnt explain what scenes, steps, and programs are - it only explains how to record them into memory.
Please somebody help, i've searched the tinternet endlessly but there are no websites with tutorials on DMX. |
