You know, I actually think this is quite interesting (if not gimmicky).
The Wii controller is fairly revolutionary as an input device; it breaks away from the traditional ones: keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc.
Although the Wiimote isn't the first of its kind, only recent advances in technology (namely the miniaturization and reduced costs of the accelerometers) made it possible.
I think there will be more and more projects like this, each one a study into alternative usability input interfacing.
I kind of want to try it now. =D (no bluetooth, though. =( |
