i boot from cd.
i go next.
it tells me i dont have a dvd rom or somthing. wtf is that?

thats how much ram it takes to run the OS, background processes, etc...vista is a memory hog, big time.
2 gigs of ram is what j00 need to run vista smoothly and efficiently... |

This release is absolute . There's a lot of kinks in it.
You want Vista? Wait at least 8 months to a year when V.2 comes out.
