Exactly. Regardless of how immature this makes them seem, I support it. People busted a nut over nothing, and now they're just making fun of everybody for it. Society has been far too panicky and uptight since 9/11. People need to relax, step back and stop ting themselves every time something looks awkward.

Well you act as though you don't really get it at all. You act like maybe you could understand it, but clearly "the time for jokes is over and they should sober up and take this seriously just like everybody else hur hur hur" when really, their point is the exact opposite of that - they are supporting a cartoon about talking french fries and people are accusing them of being terrorists - their point in not taking it seriously at all pertains to the fact that it is not serious. Obvious, I know, but they are taking the piss and people are truly pissed and afraid that they are making jokes over a matter that really is just one. big. joke.

Oh no, I don't think they should be serious, I just don't think making jokes about haircuts is going to get their point across. It may to some, but not enough.
Then again, I could be giving the average american too little credit. |
