All right, you guys got me! I was just trying to say thier remixes are usually top-notch- and I prefer many of them to the originals.

Actually, I love the L&M mixes of the tracks you guys mentioned. Although the originals are great too.

Vector 7 - G.H.L.I.S is a track that supports your theory, the original isnt especially good :)

Push - Strange World (2000 Remake)
Endre - Kallocain (Robert Nickson Remix)
Trance Nutter
Mario + More - All I Need (Mas Remix)
Vengaboys - Kiss (Airscape Remix)

I was talking about this with Aly & Fila's music in a recent thread about them. Their originals are really average to poor, but the remixes like the "Ronski Speed Remix" or "Solid Globe" of Eye Of Horus or the "Markus Schulz Remix" of Spirit Of Ka are much better.

Agreed. And "Thebes (Vadim Zhukov Remix)" also.

Ok, so i just got hold of some good old tunes, and its always interesting to hear originals of famous remixes.

But damn, these tunes i noticed in particular as complete rubbish.
Maybe because their old i dunno. But made my ears bleed, could barely last a minute.

The Morrighans - Remember

Lost Witness - Happiness Happening

Both these tracks got their great remixes from Lange.

The Morrighan - Remember (To the Millenium) (Lange Remix)

...is such a beautiful classic.

This reminds me, you should watch them live at the brixton academy: http://youtube.com/watch?v=RWeEFHHSVi8

But back on topic...While I agree with the examples you provided, I found your SEEMING "generalization" pretty downright wrong, do correct me if I'm wrong.

I think "originals" are usually the better versions.

I see, you think im saying that remixes are generally better than originals, ah. i see how it can be interpreted that way.

Well, thats not what im saying at all. I am talking about examples of remixes that are so much better in any way then the original tracks its a disgrace in comparance.
