Yeah good album.

As a progressive fan I've heard better (did they really need to put Rapture on there?) but well worth the $45 AU in my opinion.

i admire GU021!!!
i'd say you could be disappointed by it if you expect both cds to be in the style of the first track of each disk
but the tracks that are most memorable from the disk for me were:

16 B feat. Morel - Escape (Driving To Heaven)
Dido - Thank You (Deep Dish Unreleased Mix)
Vaiio - Rapture
BT - Shame
Blackwatch pres. Professor Okku - Word Unspoken
Fatboy Slim - Sunset (Bird Of Prey)
John Creamer & Stephen K - I Wish You Were Here

but very good dark mood overall

btw, i have a question, what are those two "acapellas" listed on the back of the case?
Boogie Balo feat. Roxy Chocolate & Peanut Butter
Louie "Balo" pres. Gudiding Light feat. Jeannie Hopper

I agree... the first track on each cd is incredible... Escape and Shame are masterpieces (imo). But you forgot envy - faith on your list of best songs on the cd ;)

Both guys from Deep dish spun in vancouver a while back......very boring, they spun a couple good tracks but otherwise it was a sleeper set.

Deep Dish's GU021=ZZzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZ.

Very Wrong IMO. There are some dark progressive Album's that i would say is ZZZzzzzzzZZZZ, but personally i think GU021 is awesome. Sasha ibiza and this album i think are the best of GU IMO.

I've seen deep dish couple times live and they are awesome. They throw it down harder ilve then on this cd though from what i've seen. Still i love this cd.

SSHH - HOld that body is mah favorite track on this album.

the new deep dish gu album is pretty sick. its not boring if youre into progressive house but i admit, i dig the stuff and still found myself skipping tracks. like whoever said it before me, i do have to be in a certain mood to listen to it. honestly, i'd have to say this is one of the worst compilations i've heard from them. if youre looking to get into some deep dish, i suggest the yooshi and renaissance in ibiza albums.

(by the way, the best track on GU021 is dino lenny - i feel stereo...)

By the way, if you're into the first couple tracks on the CDs, especially 16B's "Escape" which features the vocals of Morel, then check out Morel's latest album "Queen of the Highway". Awesome stuff.

Also, a couple of his other tunes are quite good - "Funny Car" (esp. the Hydrogen Rockers mix) and "True (Deep Dish mixes)". :)

I love both cd's! not the best GU though but its well worh a listen
