I went record shopping for the first time in years in Toronto last week...
THIS PLACE BLOWS FOR SELECTION!!!!

Mate, I'm sure I've got loads of vinyls I don't use anymore. And judging by the very disappointing choices to make in the stores, you might wanna think about using mp3's. I've always been a true vinyl DJ, but after what I saw last week...

EDIT. Best selection ever... www.vinylwarning.com.au ;)
You'll find anything you're looking for on there, and if it's not in stock, they'll get it for you. Just watch out for the shipping eh.

i'll have to disagree over last year i managed to score some really decent and rare tunage there and their stock is bit more up to date then Play De

and also why would you recommend Australian record shop :conf:

http://www.juno.co.uk/ is the best online shop hands down though

I recommended an Australian shop for the same reason you recommended a UK shop.

Looking for any Chris Lake vinyls...Couldn't find it anywhere, or mostly house and electro. I wouldn't mind picking up some trance for my new collection. Thanks for all the reply's!

Make an account on discogs.com, then you can brose through other user's records, and offer to buy. You won't always get a response, but its a good way to find the records that you're looking for. When you set up your 'wantlist' then you can get updates if people are selling that tune. Goodluck.

I remember buying some records from the owner of the Pit. He was such a twat I never went back there again.
